The number of business analysts quadrupled in 3 years for a global pharmaceutical company, which resulted in an autonomous culture with dissimilar processes and deliverables. This client needed help implementing best practices, maturing their requirements management capabilities and rolling out new requirements methods.

Solutions

The Experis team conducted interviews and analysis to identify gaps between current state and Rapid Requirements Management (RRM) methodology as well as industry best practices. We leveraged RRM and other processes, templates, and artifacts as the basis for maturing Requirements Management discipline and evolving processes and document templates. Additionally, our team piloted key areas for improvement and educated and mentored pilot participants, while collaborating with client stakeholders to iteratively refine processes and approach to meet the needs of the organization.

Results

While working with the client, our team oversaw RRM adoption along with the use of integrated processes, documents and templates that evolved business analysis competency. Our team produced metrics that supported Requirements Management across the organization and validated that rigorous process reduces dependency on subject matter experts.
