Cyber Security: Vulnerability and Penetration Testing – Municipal Water Utility

Our client, a regional public water utility servicing multiple cities, towns and, government facilities, wanted an in-depth evaluation of their core networks and systems to determine where their systems and services might be susceptible to a motivated attacker. The organization had deployed a variety of security safeguards but needed a third-party evaluation to establish the adequacy of the controls to their senior leadership. Experis was engaged to execute a variety of realistic internal and external attacks against the organization to assess the security measures without disrupting business or customer services.

Cyber Security: Governance and Compliance ISO/IEC 27001 Readiness Assessment

Our client, a municipal government, was pursuing certification of its information security program against an internationally recognized security standard to demonstrate the effectiveness of its controls to its government stakeholders, suppliers, and the public. Its audit department wanted to assess the readiness of the deployed Information Security Management System (ISMS) for certification against ISO/IEC 27001:2013.

Technical Services: Windows Migration for a Department of Corrections

Our client, a department of corrections, initiated a deployment of Windows 7 to 5,000 workstations in 600 sites across the U.S. and Canada. The client needed to upgrade and migrate all computers from Windows XP and Office 2003 to Windows 7 and Office 2010. When deployment started, it became clear that the project plan was not robust enough to facilitate a large-scale deployment, exposing delays and other issues.
