The client, an insurance co-op that services more than 550 cities and towns, counties, and service districts, had fallen behind current regulatory standards. Challenged by monolithic legacy systems and applications requiring manual intervention, batch processing, and continual support, the client was seeking a partner to step in and modernize their applications and infrastructure.
Solution
The Experis team provided an assessment of the current state and developed a scalable plan including sprint zero activities to architect a new cloud environment. The target for the new environment was a modernized customer-centric claims processing system that included secure document repositories, customer portals, and self-service.
Results
Experis was able to deliver the new cloud environment, modernize the client’s applications in the cloud and drive efficiencies throughout the organization.
Upon going live with the new cloud environment and modernized application the client experienced immediate productivity gains:
- Reduced time for monthly bond renewals from 3+ hours to less than one
- Policy renewals are now automated and experienced a similar boost in efficiency
- Invoicing, which previously required the users to be locked out of the system for 2 to 4 days, now can be run overnight

- Application is browser-agnostic and mobile-friendly
- Secure messaging to send personal data
