For its large global customers, our client needed to go to market as a one-stop, full-service eLearning course development provider – from English content creation, all the way to a final product ready for international markets. However, they do not have an internal translation/localization team; and when they outsourced these services in the past, they were not fully satisfied. They knew they could provide a better, higher quality and more cost-effective solution if only they could seamlessly integrate with the right language partner.
Solution
Building on trust earned through a series of limited-scope project engagements, MGLS joined forces with its client to provide cradle-to-grave, turnkey services to one of the world’s leading food service brands. We use our client’s name and corporate email when we interface with the end-client, so that we show up as one integrated team.
MGLS team members participate in planning meetings and recommend industry best practices that become part of the production lifecycle. We advocate for early localization planning with the end-client, allowing us to get ahead of the curve and establish trust. At the launch of each new program or market, our linguists can agree directly on stylistic/terminology preferences with the end-client's in-country stakeholders. These steps help to reduce overall project costs and time-to-market.
Results
By partnering with MGLS, our client created an extension of their eLearning team and can now develop training for any part of the world. Working closely with our client to ensure their client’s success globally, we have enabled them to position themselves as a one-stop shop and win additional business. Together, we have successfully translated and localized roughly 20 different training programs for 35 markets worldwide.
