Software Development Engineer

Our client is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their team. As a Software Development Engineer, you will be part of the Embedded Software Ecosystem Engineering team supporting Real-Time Operating System and Hypervisor porting efforts to AMD silicon platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong embedded systems problem-solving, excellent programming skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with ecosystem partners to deliver working reference designs.

What's the Job?

• Assist Embedded Software Ecosystem partners with the development and porting of Real-Time Operating Systems and hypervisors to AMD silicon platforms.
• Build and run AMD Targeted Reference Designs (TRDs) on both Linux and Bare Metal environments.
• Demonstrate AMD Targeted Reference Designs to ecosystem partners and translate outcomes into actionable next steps.
• Use AMD tools such as Vivado and Vitis AI to build firmware for Targeted Reference Designs.
• Provide partners with boot artifacts, example design sources, and build scripts for Linux and Bare Metal environments.

What's Needed?

• Knowledge of AMD FPGAs.
• Knowledge of various IPs, including VCU and ISP.
• Knowledge of low-level drivers for graphics (G78) and audio.
• Experience with real-time operating systems.
• Excellent programming skills with demonstrated experience in relevant technologies.
