Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Agile Scrum Master to join their team. As an Agile Scrum Master, you will be part of the ERFT ADAPT Team supporting the Starburst enterprise data platform and related data management technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder engagement, disciplined Agile execution, and proven governance and delivery leadership, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Agile Scrum Master
Location:Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid: minimum of 3 days per week)
Pay Range: $70-$75/hr
What's the Job?
- Lead Scrum ceremonies and Agile execution activities across multiple cross-functional teams delivering enterprise data and analytics capabilities.
- Develop and maintain project plans, release roadmaps, RAID logs, and executive status reporting to support delivery transparency.
- Drive issue resolution and stakeholder alignment to ensure delivery commitments are met across concurrent initiatives.
- Monitor and report delivery metrics, project health indicators, and program risks to senior leadership.
- Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to align priorities, manage scope, and optimize delivery outcomes.
What's Needed?
- 7+ years of project or program management experience within large financial institutions or similarly regulated organizations.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex technology, data, analytics, or platform modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across architecture, engineering, infrastructure, operations, risk, and business stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of executive-level presentations and governance materials.
