Our client, a leading organization in enterprise technology solutions, is seeking a Software Engineer - Java focused to join their team. As a Software Engineer - Java focused, you will be part of the Enterprise Middleware and Online Security Technology team supporting innovative authentication and security features. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$70

What's the Job?

  • Own design, development, testing, and support for complex application components and secure authentication capabilities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to decompose features, estimate delivery efforts, and meet sprint and release commitments.
  • Design and implement secure, resilient, user-friendly authentication journeys utilizing risk signals, telemetry, and policy-based decisioning.
  • Contribute to modern identity solutions including Passwordless Login, FIDO2/WebAuthn/passkeys, and Risk Based Authentication.
  • Build and consume REST APIs, gateway patterns, and reusable services aligned with architectural standards.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks; Angular preferred.
  • Strong experience with secure web application development and REST API integration.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Gateway, or similar service-based architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and security practices.
