Oracle Database Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a dedicated Oracle Database Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an Oracle Database Engineer, you will be an integral part of the IT support team, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Oracle database systems within their Azure-hosted environment. What's the Job?

• Install and configure Oracle databases on Azure-hosted Linux servers.
• Execute backup and restore activities to ensure data integrity.
• Support schema migration processes and validate migration results.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Support cutover and hypercare activities, maintaining comprehensive operational documentation.

What's Needed?

• Experience in Oracle DBA administration and database installation.
• Proficiency in backup & recovery procedures using Oracle RMAN.
• Strong Linux administration skills, particularly with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Knowledge of database migration and troubleshooting Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with tools such as Oracle SQL Developer, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Azure Monitoring.
