Our client, an industry leader in data solutions, is seeking a Senior Data Migration Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Data Migration Engineer, you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting technical migration projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Senior Data Migration Engineer
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Pay Range: $45/hr- $50/hr
What's the Job?
- Lead data migration efforts from legacy systems to new solutions, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data.
- Develop and implement migration strategies, including data mapping, transformation, and validation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of migration projects, including design, build, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot complex data and system issues, providing effective resolutions to ensure project success.
What's Needed?
- Strong database and development skills, including SQL, ETL, APIs, and scripting.
- Experience with data migration, system integration, and architecture.
- Proficiency in data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques.
- Experience with migration tools, interfaces, and reporting systems.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
