IT Risk & Security Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and healthcare sectors, is seeking a dedicated IT Risk & Security Analyst to join their dynamic team. As an IT Risk & Security Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Information Security Department supporting risk management and compliance initiatives. Job Title: IT Risk & Security Analyst

Location: Meridian, Idaho

What's the Job?

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities within information systems and networks.
• Implement and monitor risk treatment plans to mitigate identified threats effectively.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements such as NIST CSF and HIPAA Security standards.
• Manage the lifecycle of security policies, ensuring they are current and effectively enforced across the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote security awareness and foster a culture of continuous improvement in cybersecurity practices.

What's Needed?

• 3-4+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3+ years focused on cybersecurity-related work.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• Applicable certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience with IT risk assessments, policy management, and security frameworks like NIST CSF and HIPAA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
