Our client is seeking a Certified Cloud Architect to join their team. As a Certified Cloud Architect, you will be part of the Division of Enterprise Technology supporting the Bureau of Security. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Lead the implementation of the state's Flaw Remediation Standard to transition from manual vulnerability management to AI-accelerated, continuous authorization.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to senior leadership, including CISOs and CIOs, providing strategic guidance on cloud security architecture.
- Operationalize security controls, including tiering models, control validation, and risk governance within complex enterprise environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce security frameworks utilizing tools such as Google Threat Intel, VirusTotal, Mandiant ASM, Tenable.io, and Microsoft Azure Arc.
- Mentor and train infrastructure and security operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
What's Needed?
- Proven experience serving as a trusted advisor in large or complex enterprise environments, preferably within the public sector or heavily federated organizations.
- Demonstrated success in mentoring, training, or leading engineering teams focused on security and infrastructure operations.
- Expertise in operationalizing security controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise cyber security tools and cloud platforms such as Google, Microsoft, AWS, and Splunk.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
