Our client, a leader in cloud data management solutions, is seeking a Data Migration Specialist to join their team. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will be part of the Data Operations Department supporting the Data Migration team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Manage the migration of data, including data and root shares, from existing Nasuni sources to Nasuni destinations.
  • Conduct data separation activities and validate completed migration data.
  • Create folder structures and network shares based on findings and business standards approved by the customer.
  • Advise the customer on the creation of Active Directory groups/users required for new data locations, if needed.
  • Apply NTFS permissions as required for folder archive and business needs up to two tiers/folders in the directory structure.

What's Needed?

  • 5+ years of experience with Nasuni Data Platform and Windows File Server migrations, including Robocopy tools and scripting.
  • Experience with Active Directory NTFS security permissions aligned with Nasuni Hybrid Cloud File Systems.
  • Knowledge of Azure Storage Accounts and TCP/IP networking.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in milestone-based project execution.
  • Ability to interface, coordinate, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
