Our client, a leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Packaging Engineer to join their team. As a Packaging Engineer, you will be part of the R&D group supporting product development and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Lead and contribute to planning and executing packaging projects across various types including quality, regulatory compliance, and cost savings initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects with moderate complexity, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop testing protocols and participate in Change Control activities, collaborating with manufacturing and supplier teams.
- Approve new packaging materials and systems, recommending improvements to optimize costs and performance.
- Create technical specifications, drawings, and procedural documents to support packaging configurations.
What's Needed?
- B.S. in Packaging or relevant Engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical) with at least 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in packaging materials and processes, problem analysis, statistical methods, and design of experiments.
- Experience with change control processes and project management in a technical environment.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects independently with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
