Our client, a leading organization in the medical device and regulated industries, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the R&D department supporting product development and innovation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Eagan, MN
Pay Range: $22-$27/hr
Duration: 12 months (potential to extend)
What's the Job?
- Support Product Development Engineers with research and development initiatives
- Conduct testing for new product development and product improvement projects
- Perform mechanically focused laboratory testing and analysis
- Analyze test data and prepare detailed technical reports
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and lab notebooks following established procedures
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, physics, chemistry)
- 2–3 years of relevant industry experience in a regulated environment
- Mechanical testing experience and understanding of physics and material properties
- Ability to work independently while following directions and protocols
- Strong documentation, organizational skills, and familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
