Application Support Engineer - Chandler, AZ

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Application Support Engineer to join their team. As a Application Support Engineer, you will be part of the Application Support Department supporting multi-regional teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a strong desire to continuously improve, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Application Support Engineer

Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)

Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion

What's the Job?

• Monitor and manage multiple batch processes to ensure successful completion, investigating and resolving any issues that arise
• Respond promptly to alerts, analyze incidents, and implement resolutions to maintain system stability
• Create and update support documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and process improvements
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to resolve application issues and user inquiries
• Utilize monitoring tools such as ITSM / Service-Now, ITRS / Dynatrace, and Splunk to generate reports and track system performance

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience in an application support role supporting client applications
• Strong knowledge of Autosys and UNIX, including Shell scripting
• Good understanding of SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, or similar database management systems
• Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent issues and requests effectively
• Quick learner with a motivation for self-improvement and professional growth
