Java Developer IV

Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is seeking a Java Developer IV to join their team. As a Java Developer IV, you will be part of the IT Department supporting web application development and maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Java Developer IV

Location: Madison, WI (Remote - but needs to a resident in the State of WI)

Pay Range: $55

What's the Job?

• Develop and support Java and JavaScript web applications within an existing system.
• Evaluate requirements and implement enhancements to improve application functionality.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for web applications.
• Collaborate with team members and application architects in an agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Java development.
• At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript.
• 2 years of experience working with SQL databases.
• Knowledge of ReactJS or other SPA JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with Git and agile development methodologies is desirable.
