DevOps Engineer (No C2C)

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure and Software Development teams supporting the company's SaaS business. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Pay Range: $100,000 - $140,000 depending on years of experience

What's the Job?

• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate product testing, development, and deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance proactively by building monitoring and alerting solutions, assisting engineering teams in troubleshooting, and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Administer and scale AWS infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and cost efficiency across multi-environment configurations.
• Design and implement automated processes, testing workflows, and system monitoring solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and project management to support seamless releases and system integrations.

What's Needed?

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, specifically with AWS environments.
• Experience deploying developer code to AWS and managing cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS CDK or Terraform.
• Knowledge of automation tools and methods for process automation and automated testing.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and relational database technologies such as MySQL Aurora RDS.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
