Axway Middleware Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in data management and enterprise solutions, is seeking a Axway Middleware Engineer to join their team. As a Axway Middleware Engineer, you will be part of the IT Operations supporting the Data Center Migration team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to technical challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Axway Middleware Engineer

Location: Fortmill, South Carolina

What's the Job?

• Design, implement, and support Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions during critical data center migration projects.
• Configure and manage daily operations for MFT systems, troubleshooting issues to ensure seamless data transfer.
• Gather requirements, analyze business processes, and communicate directly with partners to understand their needs.
• Install software, perform regular patch updates, and maintain system security and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and optimal system performance.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience with Axway Secure Transport or similar MFT solutions.
• Proficiency in Linux system and application administration.
• Familiarity with data transfer protocols such as SFTP, HTTPS, S3, and SharePoint.
• Experience working with databases like Oracle and shell scripting skills.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform is a plus.
