Our client is seeking a Transport Engineer to join their team. As a Transport Engineer, you will be part of the National Transport Engineering department supporting Long Haul Wave projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Design and analyze end-to-end feasibility studies and path designs for backbone wavelength services.
- Provision multi-vendor optical transport services, including Nokia and Ciena platforms.
- Perform comprehensive validation and testing of wavelength services before customer handoff.
- Troubleshoot complex optical network issues across multiple segments and vendor environments.
- Document service designs, validation results, and operational procedures to ensure seamless delivery and support.
What's Needed?
- 10+ years of experience in engineering, provisioning, or supporting DWDM and optical transport networks.
- Deep understanding of optical transport technologies such as DWDM, ROADM architectures, and optical amplification.
- Hands-on experience with provisioning and troubleshooting on major optical transport platforms.
- Strong documentation skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Ability to work independently and make sound engineering decisions in complex environments.
