Quality Assurance - Mid-Level

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance - Mid-Level to join their team. As a Quality Assurance - Mid-Level, you will be part of the Sales and Service Technology department supporting software quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Assurance - Mid-Level

Location: Southlake, TX (On-site 3 days per week)

Pay Range: $60/hr 

What's the Job?

• Develop and enhance automated test plans and solutions supporting distributed Java Web Service applications.
• Collaborate with agile team members to implement software that meets functional and performance requirements.
• Interact with business stakeholders and technology teams to define and execute test cases.
• Utilize testing tools such as Swagger, Postman, JMeter, and Rest-Assured to ensure software quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes within a dynamic environment.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance for distributed applications across the full development lifecycle.
• Experience with RESTful API testing, TDD, BDD, and performance testing tools.
• Familiarity with Java Spring Technology Stack and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams.
