Title: Oracle Cloud Security Analyst / Oracle Cloud Certification Analyst
Location: Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ
 Duration: Contract (12+ months)

Our financial services client is seeking Oracle Cloud Security professionals to support the assessment, certification, and governance of Oracle Cloud environments from an Information Security perspective. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience who enjoy analyzing cloud services, evaluating security controls, and ensuring environments meet enterprise security and compliance standards.

These roles will focus on reviewing Oracle Cloud services, understanding core Oracle cloud capabilities, assessing risks, validating security controls, and partnering with engineering and security teams to certify solutions before production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments and services to assess security posture.
  • Analyze Oracle Cloud architectures and identify security risks, gaps, and control requirements.
  • Validate implementation of security controls, governance standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct security assessments and certification activities for Oracle Cloud platforms and applications.
  • Partner with cloud engineering, architecture, and information security teams to ensure security requirements are met.
  • Evaluate Oracle SaaS, OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), and OAC (Oracle Analytics Cloud) solutions from a security and compliance perspective.
  • Document findings, recommendations, and remediation plans.
  • Support audit, risk, and compliance initiatives related to Oracle Cloud services.
  • Provide security signoff and certification recommendations for cloud implementations.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Understanding of Oracle Cloud services and foundational cloud architecture concepts.
  • Experience performing cloud security assessments, reviews, or governance activities.
  • Knowledge of security controls, risk management, and cloud security best practices.
  • Strong analytical and audit-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to evaluate technical environments and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with compliance, governance, or cybersecurity teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and/or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Background in Information Security, Risk Management, Governance, Compliance, or Cloud Security.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, or similar standards.
  • Experience supporting cloud certification, compliance, or regulatory reviews.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or Oracle Cloud certifications are a plus.

Our client is interested in professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including Oracle Cloud Engineering, Cloud Security, Governance/Risk/Compliance, Security Architecture, Audit, or Infrastructure. The ideal candidate can quickly understand Oracle Cloud services, evaluate whether proper security controls are in place, and confidently assess whether a platform meets Information Security standards for certification and approval.
