Application Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Application Developer to join their team. As an Application Developer, you will be part of the Technology Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Application Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using modern frameworks and tools
• Build and support event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka, MQ, and Event Hub
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and SQL Server
• Create APIs and backend services using .NET technologies

What's Needed?

• Strong hands-on experience with Fenergo, Databricks, and .NET (C# preferred)
• Proficiency with Kafka, IBM MQ / Messaging systems, and Azure Event Hub
• Experience with Power BI, SQL Server (advanced querying, performance tuning), and Python
• Knowledge of Autosys or similar scheduling tools and GitHub
• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture, data engineering, and API development
