Our client, a technology support services organization, is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their team. As an IT Support Technician, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting internal employees and technical operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: IT Support Technician
Location: 7171 Southwest Parkway, Austin, TX (Onsite)
Employment Type: 12-month contract
What’s the Job?
- Provide first-level technical support via tickets and in-person support desk
- Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and devices
- Assist with device setup, provisioning, and replacements
- Maintain IT asset inventory and stockroom operations
- Support IT projects and ensure timely resolution of requests
What’s Needed?
- 2–4 years of IT support experience
- Familiarity with Windows troubleshooting and mobile devices (iOS/Android)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Customer-focused mindset with ability to assist non-technical users
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, LAN, WAN) is a plus
