Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the IT Department supporting the development and enhancement of critical systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Analyze, design, code, and test system and component software tools and applications.
  • Maintain, enhance, and develop software solutions to support community engagement and benefit processing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software releases.
  • Utilize AI and ML technologies to improve system efficiency and automate workflows.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support deployment activities.

What's Needed?

  • Experience with J2EE application development, including front-end, back-end, and middle-tier components.
  • Proficiency with web services creation, consumption, and implementation.
  • Knowledge of application servers such as JBoss and deployment management.
  • Strong scripting skills with Shell, Groovy, or similar languages.
  • Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and clustered hardware environments.
