Position Title: Senior Helix Developer
Location: Hybrid : Atlanta, GA
Duration: 5-6+ months with high possibilities of extension
Pay Range: $60-65/hr on W2

A Senior Helix Developer is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining enterprise ITSM solutions using the BMC Helix platform. The role is typically hands-on (development-heavy) with added technical leadership, architecture input, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Development
Design, build, and enhance applications on the BMC Helix platform
Develop and customize:
o ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request)
o Forms, workflows, business rules, and UI components
Create scalable and reusable technical solutions aligned to business needs

2. Workflow & Automation Development
Build workflows using Developer Studio / Innovation Studio / Digital Workplace Configure:
o Approvals, notifications, escalations, and automation logic

3. Integration & API Development
Develop integrations with external systems using:
o REST APIs / SOAP / Web services
Build connectors, data exchange processes, and automation pipelines
Integrate Helix with enterprise tools (e.g., monitoring, JIRA etc)

4. CMDB & Asset Management
Design and maintain CMDB data models and asset lifecycles
Configure:
o Reconciliation rules, normalization, and data integrity processes
Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices

5. Reporting, Dashboards & Data Handling
Develop dashboards and reports (Helix Dashboards, KPI tracking)
Write SQL queries and manage data for reporting needs
Perform performance analysis and monitoring

6. Application Migration
Enable application migration from the old platform to Innovation Studio
Ensure the functionality of the existing application remains as-is

Key Skills Typically Expected
Strong expertise in:
o BMC Helix ITSM / Innovation Suite / Remedy
o BMC Helix migrations
o Workflow development (Active Links, Filters, Escalations)
o APIs & integrations (REST/SOAP)
o 10+ yrs of Helix development experience
Understanding of ITIL service management processes
Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Prior CMT / Cox experience preferred.
