Our client, a leading organization in the technology and financial services sector, is seeking a Application Support Engineer to join their team. As a Application Support Engineer, you will be part of the IT Operations team supporting critical enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to technical challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Alpharetta, GA

Pay Range: $60/hr 

What's the Job?

  • Provide technical production support for high-volume transaction processing applications
  • Manage and troubleshoot enterprise applications, deploying updates and resolving operational issues
  • Monitor application performance using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and Moogsoft
  • Support cloud environments on Azure, ensuring optimal integration and resource utilization
  • Assist in designing and validating high availability and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of software development experience with Microsoft (.NET, C#) and/or Java technologies
  • At least 3 years of experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Azure
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in diagnosing issues like blank screens and reducing impact
  • Experience reading and writing code, scripting, and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Linux shell scripting
