As a Application Support Engineer, you will be part of the IT Operations team supporting critical enterprise applications. What's the Job?
- Provide technical production support for high-volume transaction processing applications
- Manage and troubleshoot enterprise applications, deploying updates and resolving operational issues
- Monitor application performance using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, and Moogsoft
- Support cloud environments on Azure, ensuring optimal integration and resource utilization
- Assist in designing and validating high availability and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT or related field
- Minimum 10 years of software development experience with Microsoft (.NET, C#) and/or Java technologies
- At least 3 years of experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Azure
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in diagnosing issues like blank screens and reducing impact
- Experience reading and writing code, scripting, and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Linux shell scripting
