Senior Java Developer (No C2C)

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their team. As a Java Developer, you will be part of the Developer Services Software Engineering team supporting enterprise infrastructure and application development. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: Baltimore, MD

Pay Range: $62-65/hr depending on years of experience

What's the Job?

• Develop, analyze, design, build, and implement infrastructure and software solutions for enterprise use
• Research enterprise problems and orchestrate cloud installations to support scalable, resilient systems
• Lead or support incident response and troubleshooting efforts across multiple domains
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance standards and practices
• Mentor team members and contribute to technical discussions and decision-making

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong experience with the software development lifecycle and enterprise tools and services
• Experience with Kotlin
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure components, especially AWS, including deployment and maintenance
• Knowledge of core infrastructure capabilities such as operating systems, networking, identity, and access management
• Experience with automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
