About the Role
Our client, a leading financial technology organization, is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET to support mission-critical payments applications. This role will focus on designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions that ensure the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise payment platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong automation experience with Selenium, coding expertise in Python or Java, and experience working in Linux environments and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test frameworks and test scripts for web-based and enterprise applications
• Create and execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and security test plans
• Build and maintain automated testing solutions using Selenium, Python, Java, and Shell scripting
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD and continuous delivery pipelines
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
• Validate application and database functionality using SQL and NoSQL technologies
• Partner with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
• Support testing initiatives for critical payment processing and tracking applications

• 4+ years of QA Automation, Test Automation, or SDET experience
• Strong experience with Selenium automation frameworks
• Programming experience with Python and/or Java
• Experience working in Linux/RHEL environments
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices

• Experience in Payments, FinTech, Banking, or Financial Services
• Experience with performance and security testing
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Experience with modern test automation frameworks and tools
