Identity Encryption Systems Engineer

Our client, a leader in the cybersecurity and enterprise infrastructure sector, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Identity Encryption Systems Engineer to join their team.

As an integral part of the Security and Infrastructure Department, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Title: Identity Encryption Systems Engineer

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $75-80/hour, based on experience 

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and deliver secure cryptographic solutions and certificate management strategies across diverse environments.
• Lead the automation and integration of cryptographic platforms, including Keyfactor, HashiVault, and Azure Key Vault, to streamline operations and enhance security.
• Create and maintain a centralized, user-friendly Self-Service Portal for certificate requests and provisioning.
• Develop governed APIs and plugins to enable DevOps teams to automate secrets management within CI/CD pipelines.
• Standardize workflows and optimize platform utilization to maximize return on investment and ensure compliance with industry best practices.

What's Needed?

• 7-10 years of experience managing certificate and cryptographic platforms, with a strong preference for experience with Keyfactor.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience in Directory Services or DevOps, focusing on automation and workflows for secrets management.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and experience with HSM deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of PKI, certificate deployment architecture, and security hardening techniques.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as GCP, Azure (notably Azure KeyVault), or AWS, including API integrations and infrastructure as code.
