Our client, a leading organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a QA Analyst to join their team. As a QA Analyst, you will be part of the Cyber Data Operations team supporting the development and maintenance of Cyber Data Dashboards and Cyber Data Warehouse systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Strong testing of data pipelines within a Databricks environment is required
• Must have the testing experience – be able to explain test scenarios for ETL/ELT jobs 
• Strong SQL

Job Title: QA Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: W2 only

What's the Job?

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on detailed business and technical requirements.
• Perform manual and automated testing across functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance phases to ensure system reliability.
• Document defects clearly, collaborate with developers to resolve issues, and verify fixes to maintain high-quality standards.
• Ensure traceability of requirements and maintain thorough test documentation to support project transparency and accountability.
• Participate actively in agile scrum calls, providing valuable feedback on system usability and stability, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.

What's Needed?

• Strong testing of data pipelines within a Databricks environment is required
• Must have the testing experience – be able to explain test scenarios for ETL/ELT jobs 
• Strong SQL
• 7-10 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or business systems analysis, preferably within financial services or banking sectors.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as JIRA; experience with Confluence is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile or Scrum frameworks, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze and scrub data effectively, with strong SQL query writing skills, including familiarity with joins, CTEs, and data outlier detection.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills to clearly articulate issues and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
