Our client, a leading organization in the banking and financial services industry, is seeking a Application Production Support - Plano, TX to join their team. As an Application Production Support - Plano, TX, you will be part of the Banking and Production Services Group supporting operational and application support functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Provide day-to-day Level 2 operational and application support for banking applications.
• Monitor application jobs and services to ensure smooth production operations.
• Work through application-related issues, problems, and incidents promptly and efficiently.
• Support change and release activities, ensuring minimal disruption to production environments.
• Collaborate closely with technology and business operations teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

What's Needed?

• Practical experience with UNIX/Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Experience with file transmission processes and database updates using SQL.
• Familiarity with monitoring and scheduling tools such as Autosys, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Informatica.
• Knowledge of Hadoop systems and ability to navigate logs and troubleshoot issues.
• Experience with ticketing tools like Remedy and ServiceNow.
