Electrical Systems Engineer

Our client, a leader in innovative robotic and ground vehicle systems, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the development and integration of electrical subsystems. 
 

Job Title: Electrical Systems Engineer

Location: Mendon, Utah

What's the Job?

• Design and develop electrical system diagrams including harnesses for ground-based robotic systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to route harnesses and position electronic modules effectively.
• Program embedded electronic modules using C and visual programming languages.
• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and modify wiring harnesses and electronic components.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure system reliability.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with electronics systems integration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and protocol analyzers.
• Experience with CAD/Circuit design and building/testing harnesses according to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
• Basic mechanical assembly skills and familiarity with hand tools.
