Our client, a leader in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering department supporting product development and process optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Plano, TX
Pay Range: $45/hr. - $49/hr.
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Shift: 8AM-5PM
What's the Job?
- Partner closely with R&D to support new product development and transfer into manufacturing processes.
- Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, scalability, and compliance.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) activities and facilitate smooth transfer to manufacturing.
- Perform risk documentation and design control activities to meet regulatory standards.
- Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE), process characterization, and validation activities to improve manufacturing efficiency.
What's Needed?
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process development.
- Proficiency with statistical tools such as Mini Tab.
- Experience with process validation and process characterization.
- Strong communication skills across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and adapt in fast-paced environments.
