Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Application Architect III to join their team. As an Application Architect III, you will be part of the Enterprise Architecture supporting Global Markets domains. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, analytical skills, a good understanding of business and operational processes, and a broad knowledge of various technologies which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Create and maintain domain architecture strategies, blueprints, and roadmaps to guide system evolution aligning with business and technology goals.
  • Participate in architecture consulting, lead design sessions, and manage tradeoffs to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure designs adhere to architectural principles, enterprise standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support vendor selection, develop prototypes, and contribute to architectural patterns and governance processes.
  • Provide strategic insights and communicate effectively across multiple functional domains to influence decision-making.

What's Needed?

  • BSc-level degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with enterprise-level technology strategy within architecture organizations.
  • Strong background in financial services, particularly within markets such as Trading or Post Trade.
  • Proficiency in application development, enterprise applications, distributed services, and modern deployment practices.
  • Knowledge of architectural methodologies, standards (e.g., UML, BPMN), and quality & productivity frameworks like Six Sigma.
