Oracle PL/SQL Developer with Java

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Oracle Developer with Java to join their team. As a Oracle Developer, you will be part of the Data & Analytics Department supporting the Data Warehousing and Data Management teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: 65/hr

What's the Job?

• Lead the development and enhancement of complex ETL processes and data models within a data warehousing environment.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to offshore development teams, ensuring best practices and high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize database performance and scalability, ensuring efficient processing of large datasets.
• Implement data quality and data protection standards across projects, ensuring compliance and security.

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience with Oracle Database platforms, especially in large data domains related to HR, Finance, or Real Estate.
• 6+ years of Data Warehousing experience, including manipulation of millions of rows with optimal methods.
• Proficiency in SQL & PL/SQL development, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Strong experience with Unix/Linux operating systems, shell scripting, Autosys, and version control tools like GIT or Bitbucket.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with offshore teams and stakeholders.
