Application Architect III

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Application Architect III to join their dynamic team. As an Application Architect III, you will be an integral part of the Cloud Infrastructure team supporting innovative cloud solutions and infrastructure strategies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to collaboration, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with the bank’s cloud strategy.
• Collaborate across teams to create scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions.
• Participate actively in architecture reviews, requirements gathering, and design meetings.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and other automation tools.
• Ensure code quality by adhering to standards for security, accessibility, and performance.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in Cloud Engineering (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency in writing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, or GCP, and related services.
• Experience with cloud security frameworks such as Azure Policy, Azure Defender, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Maven and Jenkins, and programming languages such as Java or Python.
