System Engineer 2

Our client, a leader in data center infrastructure and construction support, is seeking a System Engineer 2 to join their team. As a System Engineer 2, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting commissioning and site setup teams. The ideal candidate will have proactive communication skills, technical problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: System Engineer (Data Center/Construction/Industrial)

Location: Atlanta GA (HYBRID - 2 days/week)

Pay Range: $43/hr W2 + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Support deployment and configuration of distributed commissioning test applications across data center project sites
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with test instruments including Power Quality Meters, load bank controllers, and environmental sensors
• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks supporting commissioning operations
• Coordinate with remote engineering teams and ensure equipment readiness for commissioning milestones
• Travel to US East Coast data center sites (15-25%) to support onsite setup and troubleshooting activities

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, network engineering, computer science, or related technical field
• 2-4 years of experience in systems engineering, site engineering, or technical support roles
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting wired and wireless networks
• Prior experience supporting electrical systems, networks, or building management systems in construction or industrial environments
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices and ability to work efficiently under time constraints
