Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data solutions industry, is seeking a CAN | Application Consultant - Big Data _L3 to join their dynamic team. As a CAN | Application Consultant - Big Data _L3, you will be part of the Data Engineering and Analytics Department supporting innovative data-driven initiatives. Job Title: CAN | Application Consultant - Big Data _L3

Location:Mississauga, ON

What's the Job?

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of big data and analytics projects across multiple teams.
• Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design scalable data architectures and pipelines.
• Ensure high-quality project delivery through testing, validation, and performance tuning.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years managing Big Data or data engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of data architectures, ETL processes, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with cloud-based data services such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or similar platforms.
