Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client, a leader in healthcare diagnostics, is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting software development and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Lake Forest, IL (100% On-Site)

Pay Range: $43/hr. - $47/hr.

Duration: 12+ Month Contract

What's the Job?

• Conduct quality-related activities to ensure high standards for documents, services, products, and processes within healthcare diagnostics.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of healthcare products in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Define project goals, milestones, and ensure timely project completion.
• Provide solutions to complex problems, ensuring they are compliant, innovative, and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional projects, communicating effectively with management, peers, and stakeholders.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline, or relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of work experience in Quality or a related field; relevant experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle and ALM (Preferably HP Quality Center).
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards and quality system compliance.
• Ability to execute SDLC activities, perform manual and automated testing, and manage defect lifecycle.
