Our client, a leading organization in the telecommunications and network infrastructure industry, is seeking a dedicated Circuit Migration Engineer to join their team. As a Circuit Migration Engineer, you will be part of the Network Operations Department supporting critical circuit migration projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to project execution, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Circuit Migration Engineer

What's the Job?

  • Perform pre-test activities with field teams to verify new migrated ports are operational and circuits are successfully migrated.
  • Conduct post-groom cleanup and complete clamp-on reading checks to determine if network elements can be decommissioned.
  • Prepare and document groom completion reports to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Utilize EMS tools for Infinera, ADVA, and Nokia equipment to facilitate circuit migration activities.
  • Support live circuit migration activities across various equipment including Cisco, Huawei, Infinera, and Nokia.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning, circuit migration, and database tools usage.
  • Proficiency with EMS tools for Infinera (DTN-X / DTN), ADVA, and Nokia equipment.
  • Knowledge of SONET/SDH, OTN, DWDM technologies, and different bandwidth data rates.
  • Experience working on live circuit migration activities with multiple equipment vendors.
  • Green Card holder is a must; ability to pass a mandatory background check.
