Our client, a leading organization in enterprise technology solutions, is seeking a Lead Fullstack Java Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Java developer, you will be an integral part of the Software Development Department supporting innovative projects and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lead Fullstack Java Developer

Location: Rockville, Maryland

Pay Range: $85-90/hr depending on years of experience

What's the Job?

  • Design, architect, and deliver scalable enterprise applications utilizing Java, AWS services, and Angular frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot and related Java technologies.
  • Build and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD for seamless deployment and monitoring.
  • Implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions, ensuring security and performance standards are met.

What's Needed?

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in Java development.
  • 5+ years of experience working with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway.
  • 3+ years of experience developing front-end applications with Angular (version 2+).
  • Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools such as ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with database systems, both SQL (PostgreSQL/RDS) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
