Java Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Java Developer to join their team. As a Java Developer, you will be part of the Technology department supporting multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Java Developer

Location:Jersey City, NJ

Pay Range:$68-73.

What's the Job?

• Hands-on application development to support current and future processes
• Partnering with multiple technology teams to implement target architecture and migration strategies
• Designing and optimizing data pipelines and queries for performance and scalability
• Ingesting and managing large data sets using big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, or Flink
• Mentoring and leading other team members in best practices and technical solutions

What's Needed?

• 9+ years of experience in Java application development end-to-end
• Strong core Java skills including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC, and profiling tools
• Experience with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, data integration, and transformation tools
• Experience with big data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, or Flink
