Our client is seeking Data Architect  to join their team.

Contract

Must-Have skills for the role:
Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL development.
Good working knowledge of Ab Initio components such as:
Join, Dedup, Sort, Reformat, Rollup, Merge, Gather, Filter by Expression.
Understanding of Ab Initio parallelism concepts, graphs, and plans.
Ability to debug and analyze code and data issues in Ab Initio graphs.
Working knowledge of SQL (basic to intermediate level expected).
Nice-to-have skills:
Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux commands and scripting.
Understanding of join types, SCD concepts, null keys, rollups, and transformations.
Exposure to deployment and promotion processes (e.g., Jenkins-based promotions) is expected for higher maturity roles.
Years of experience needed: 10 + years of experience
Please provide a robust job description so that Supplier can submit quality candidates. Please list minimum 6 primary job duties/responsibilities:
Develop and enhance Ab Initio ETL graphs based on project requirements.
Work on building new graphs and enhancing existing data flows.
Handle production issues, analyze code and data issues, and provide fixes and improvements.
Perform performance tuning and optimize existing Ab Initio graphs.
Work on defects, bundle changes, and data/coding-related issues.
Independently take up research and enhancement stories and drive them to closure.
Participate in client and onsite interactions, daily/weekly status discussions where required.
Provide root cause analysis for live/production issues.
