Our client, a leading innovator in the technology industry, is seeking a Silicon Validation Engineer 3 to join their dynamic team. As a Silicon Validation Engineer 3, you will be part of the Silicon Validation Department supporting high-performance computing solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Silicon Validation Engineer 3
Location: 5 days onsite -Hillsboro, OR (lab environment)
Pay Range: $64/hr W2 + Benefits
What's the Job?
- Develop and execute validation test plans for various SoC features and subsystems, including functional, electrical, or power/performance areas.
- Perform functional, stress, and performance testing utilizing advanced hardware and software tools.
- Analyze test results to identify, isolate, and debug issues effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review system updates and validate their impact.
- Maintain and run silicon system regressions, ensuring high-quality validation processes.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in silicon validation, testing, or debugging.
- Proficiency in validation of PCIe, CXL, IO, End Points (network, storage), and system-level validation.
- Strong electrical knowledge in Serdes and IO, with a solid understanding of high-speed IO interfaces.
- Experience with hardware and software debug tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, and BERT.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and C/C++, with some knowledge of Verilog.
