Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Mobile Engineer (Specialty Software Engineer 4 - Contingent) to join their dynamic team. As a Mobile Engineer (Specialty Software Engineer 4 - Contingent), you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting innovative mobile solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Mobile Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

What's the Job?

• Design and build enterprise mobile applications supporting both iOS and Android platforms
• Support and enhance mobile architecture decisions to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions
• Collaborate with product, UX, accessibility, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features
• Provide technical leadership on mobile initiatives and ensure best practices are followed
• Participate in app store and Google Play deployment processes, ensuring compliance and smooth releases

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering, with a focus on mobile development
• 3+ years of experience in mobile solutions engineering
• Proficiency in iOS development using Swift, SwiftUI, and native iOS architecture
• Experience with Android development using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and native Android architecture
• Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0/2.1 and accessibility testing
