Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Oracle DBA to join their team.

Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)

Role Overview

Senior Oracle Database Administrator with 10+ years of experience supporting large-scale Oracle environments. This role focuses on performance tuning, troubleshooting, and high-availability architectures, including GoldenGate multi-master replication and Data Guard.

Core Skills & Experience

Oracle Database Administration

• 10+ years of Oracle DBA experience in large UNIX-based environments
• Experience in financial institutions (preferred)
• Strong expertise with:
  • Oracle 19c
  • Oracle 23ai

High Availability & Replication

• 5+ years supporting Oracle RAC on UNIX environments
• Expertise in:
  • Oracle RAC upgrades (19c / 23ai)
  • Oracle Data Guard (build & support)
  • Oracle GoldenGate & GoldenGate 23ai
  • GoldenGate multi-master replication
  • GoldenGate configuration and support

Performance & Tuning

• Strong experience in:
  • Oracle performance tuning
  • Database troubleshooting
  • Optimization in high-volume environments

Scripting & Automation

• Proficiency in:
  • UNIX Shell scripting
  • Perl scripting

Tools & Technologies

• Experience with standard Oracle tools:
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
  • Toad
  • SQL Developer

Operations & Support

• Experience with:
  • On-call / pager duty support
  • Managing complex production environments
  • Ensuring database stability and reliability
