Sr. Network Support Engineer - Hybrid 3x

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Azure Contractor with a strong focus on database and messaging platforms to support design, build, migration, operations, and modernization initiatives on Microsoft Azure (e.g., Cosmos DB, Azure Cache, Event Hubs).

Core Skills & Experience

Azure & Infrastructure

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Solid understanding of:
  • Azure networking (VNets, private endpoints)
  • Azure AD / Managed Identities
  • Encryption, access control, and compliance requirements
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  • Terraform, ARM, Bicep

Database Expertise

• Deep expertise in:
  • Relational databases
  • NoSQL platforms
• Experience operating databases in regulated / enterprise environments
• Experience with:
  • Backup strategies
  • High Availability / Disaster Recovery (HA/DR)
  • Patching and maintenance

Messaging & Integration

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure messaging services
• Experience with:
  • Kafka (on-prem or cloud)
  • Messaging integration with container platforms (e.g., OpenShift)

DevOps & Automation

• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Core Competencies

• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
