What's the Job?
- Manage and support enterprise server environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Monitor system alerts and respond promptly to incidents, performing troubleshooting and resolution activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to implement system changes and upgrades.
- Document procedures, configurations, and incident reports to maintain comprehensive records.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service delivery and operational efficiency.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience supporting large-scale, high-availability data center environments.
- Proficiency with server operating systems, including UNIX and Windows Server platforms.
- Experience working with load balancers, scripting languages (PowerShell, Perl, Tk), and network troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, and service management tools such as Remedy or SmartIT.
