Job Description: Senior Java Full Stack Developer (Application Programmer III)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Developer (Application Programmer III) with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and modern JavaScript frameworks. This role involves building scalable, high-performance applications and contributing to end-to-end development across backend and frontend systems.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, fault-tolerant solutions in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java (8/17), J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures
• Develop both backend and frontend components (~50% backend / ~50% frontend)
• Create responsive UI using Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and fault-tolerant code
• Build reusable frameworks, libraries, and scalable systems
• Develop and execute test plans and contribute to automated testing
• Optimize SQL queries and work with Oracle or other major databases
• Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver features and enhancements
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and automation initiatives
• Ensure code quality using SonarQube, security scans, and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of hands-on experience across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong proficiency in:
  • Java programming (including multithreading and concurrency)
  • Spring Boot & Spring MVC
  • Microservices architecture
• Frontend experience with:
  • Angular, JavaScript, jQuery
  • HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with development tools:
  • IDEs: Eclipse, IntelliJ
  • SQL Tools: SQL Developer, Toad (Oracle/SQL Server)
• Strong experience in:
  • SQL development and query optimization
  • Unit testing frameworks (JUnit, etc.)
• Version control & collaboration:
  • Git/Bitbucket workflows, pull requests
• DevOps & CI/CD:
  • Maven, Jenkins, Ansible
  • SonarQube (code quality & security scans)
  • Release tools (e.g., XL Release)
• Familiarity with:
  • Linux environments
  • Modern CI/CD practices and automation strategies
• Soft skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and goal-oriented

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to Big Data technologies
• Basic knowledge of statistics and analytics
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts
• Experience with cloud and containerization technologies:
