Infrastructure SDET Lead

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and infrastructure sector, is seeking a dedicated Infrastructure SDET Lead to join their dynamic team. As an Infrastructure SDET Lead, you will be an integral part of the Quality Engineering department supporting enterprise-scale transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Infrastructure SDET Lead

Location: Onsite in Grand Rapids, Michigan - Must be Local to Michigan

What's the Job?

• Lead and develop comprehensive network and infrastructure testing strategies to ensure system robustness and security.
• Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks utilizing tools such as Selenium, Python, and Robotic Process Automation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to perform integration testing and validate end-to-end system functionality.
• Manage test data strategies and leverage CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions for continuous testing and deployment.
• Utilize observability tools, monitoring dashboards, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) to optimize system performance and reliability.

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience (8-10 years) in quality engineering, specifically in network and infrastructure testing.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting languages such as Selenium, Python, and Robotic Process Automation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of API, network, and system-level testing tools, along with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
